Originally from East Texas, Charles’ extensive experience in the
steel and forging industries dates back to the early sixties and encompasses
the spectrum of purchasing, quality assurance and sales. Active within
the industry as well as the community, he has been a member of The Purchasing
Manager’s Association, The Steel Service Institute, The Lion’s

In 1984, Charles created Friendswood Metals and Specialty Steel upon the
same family principles that, to this day, remain the backbone of an enterprise
which sustains the Friendswood Metals organization. As President, he is
instrumental in its growth, having expanded it from a small steel representation
concern to its current state as a service center.
These days, Charles focuses primarily upon customer needs. His time is
spent handling both domestic and foreign accounts as he steers the Friendswood
Metals sales team towards a successful tomorrow.
Ginger, the youngest of the three children, earned her Masters of Business

tirelessly to expand the company’s customer base. Having worked
for the family business since 1995, she lives in League City with her

Charles’ wife of 45 years, Pat was there from the beginning. Her
